JAI's 7th Challenge - Second Attempt

Hi All,

Now I'm sure you are all really falling off your seats because here's my 3rd post for the day! Its my 2nd entry for the Just Add Ink Challenge. I've used my Chocolate Bunny again but in a different way because I actually used my BRAYER!!! OMG!! How many of you have a brayer in your cupboard gathering dust?? My mission this month is to actually get some ink on it and create some projects!

Right, so here's the photos:

The pint sized hand grabbing the card is my youngest daughter - aka the card thief!! She promptly stole this card and gave it a hug! Then decided to sit nicely looking at it, wait for me to try and take a photo and rip the bow off the card!! AAARRRGGGH! That particular bow took me ages to get right as I wasn't pulling it very tight!

Anyway, here's a close up of the bunny but it doesn't include the new bow:

Now the trick with this one is to ink up your brayer with your chosen colours (in this case - pink passion, tempting turquoise and green galore (although you can't actually see any green on the bunny, but that's a good thing right considering he's the Easter bunny and we don't want mouldy choccies!)

I then spritzed the entire brayer with some water and rolled onto some glossy white cardstock. When it was dry (which didn't take very long), I stamped the bunny in black Staz-on ink and cut him out. The bunny is then layered on some pink passion card (from my scrap stash!) and trimmed with a little border this time. Then its just a matter of layering all the other card & ribbon pieces together and adhering your "hyper-colour" bunny on with some dimensionals.

Materials Used:
Stamps: "Chocolate Bunny""One of a kind"
Cardstock: Green  Galore, Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron & Pink Passion
Ink: Black Staz-on, Versamark
Other: Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Write Marker, Dimensionals, So Saffron ribbon (2009 bonus), Piercing Tool and Mat Pack

Thanks for looking,

  2. My brayer and I have had a disagreement. I think I should be able to use it, it doesn't agree! Love your hypercolour bunny!
