Are you all drooling over my last post with the last chance list? What a bonus is the discounted stuff available and there's a whole month for you to order!
Anyway, I'm here today to show a card I made this arvo which will also be doubling as the card for my Father's Day Class this coming Saturday.
I started off by using the Sketch Challenge from the Helping Hudson site (you can read all about it on my blog here or go to the Helping Hudson site here
The sketch to follow is:
And this is my card:
This panelling effect of 1 image is something I've been meaning to try for ages and I'm pretty pleased with the results. The truck and trees have been stamped with my black Staz-on ink and coloured with my Close to Cocoa and Mellow Moss Markers (these are 2 of the colours soon to retire). I've sponged and then distressed the edges of each piece of card and adhered the image panels on dimensionals.
Materials Used:
Stamp Sets: Loads of Love, Teeny Tiny Sentiments & Weathered
Cardstock: Close to Cocoa & Very Vanilla
Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa & Mellow Moss Stampin' Write Markers
Close to Cocoa Ink
Black Staz-on Ink
Dimensionals
Button from my stash
Blender Pen
White Gel Pen
Thanks for looking,
Excellent...I love my Loads of Love but just not good at the watercolouring...this looks great. Fab job!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Richelle - I love it! The distressed edges look fantastic, as does the sentiment strip.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see such a masculine take on this sketch! Love your colouring.
