Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter!! I hope that everyone is enjoying their long wkend. I know we've managed to get a few things done that you just don't seem to get to on a normal wkend (ie: we've rearranged some furniture in the loungeroom and the 'playroom') and I've now got a wall to fill with some sort of shelving to store all Charlotte's toys.
Well, onto Stampin' Up news, if anyone is interested in ordering anything from the 2007-08 catalogue, please have your order to me by 30th March. I will be placing any orders on 31st March which is the last day. (Please note: this applies to the Summer mini catalogue as well)
And the very exciting news is that the NEW CATALOGUES HAVE ARRIVED!! Yes that's right the 2008-09 catalogues are here and I would love to book a workshop with you to share the new products that are available. There's a huge amount of new stamp sets and accessories, new Simply Sent kits and all new hostess reward sets; and for the scrapbookers, there's all new 12x12 papers avail. I don't dare write my wishlist just yet, there's just so many things that I would love to add to my collection.
Now, its confession time, due to a very busy week with drs appts and some family dramas, and doing some other running around that I've been putting off for some time, I haven't made any Easter cards. Very Slack!!! but I'm aiming to make some new cards ready for workshops from April to inspire you all and get those creative juices flowing.
Well, that's it from me as I'm about to make a move towards bed - no doubt I'll be at least another hour before I actually get to sleep as there's always those last minute things to do before bed (thankfully I've already cleaned up the kitchen!!)
PS: Make sure you get in early and book your new catalogue workshop soon! I most likely won't be doing any workshops during mid May to July with having a new baby arriving, but I will be happy to arrange any book parties or to accept any orders via ph or email.

New Cards (finally! I hear you say)
Hi Everyone,
I've finally made it back to my card making. Its been a busy time as we have been sorting out and rearranging our house in preparation for the new baby that's on its way. Amazing how time consuming sorting things out can be!!
Anyway, here's what I've been up to today.... I've scanned the images with our new printer too and I'm quite happy with the amount of detail its able to show compared to standard photos.
These cards were using the "In full bloom" stamp set

(This one I cased from a fellow demonstrator Andrea - Thank you!!!)

The below card is using the "Greetings Galore" stamp set, and its for a friend's wedding tomorrow. Colours used were pink passion, whisper white and tempting turquoise.

Using the "Birthday Best" & "Cheery Chat" stamp sets, a simple birthday card that used up some scrap card that I seem to have acumulated quite a lot of...

In other news, we had the big 20week ultrasound on 31st Jan and everything is going along nicely. The baby's growth is right on track and before you ask, no we didn't find out the sex, we are going to wait until he or she is born. Charlotte's new room is just about emptied out, which means we are just about up to painting and decorating it and then we will start buying her some new furniture soon and move her into it.

Take care and I hope to see you soon.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!!! Seems like so long since I've written anything on my blog and in reality, it has been over a month, so my apologies to anyone who may have been having a look for an update.
Anyway, we're now over the manic Christmas week and what a week it was! We've had 3 christmas meals with family (which included a last one today) plus we went out for tea with a group of friends on Friday night.
New to Stampin' Up is the Summer Mini Catalogue and starting 1st January is the Sale-a-bration Catalogue (click here to view the catalogues).
The Sale-a-bration is a great time to host a workshop or place an order, as there are bonus stamp sets for each $100 you spend and as the hostess, you can receive extra sets based on the sales from a workshop. And remember, you could always have a book party if you are finding it too hard to set a date for a workshop.
If you are interested in hosting a workshop or placing an order, please contact me. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the silly season, stay safe and have a happy new year!!

And here's a Memory Box I've decorated for my friend Alissa... It's her Hen's Nite tonight and the big wedding next Saturday... The big blank circle is just where I've blanked out her and her fiance's names...... It's not Stampin' Up products but I just thought I'd share it with you all.

Update
Hi Everyone,
We've had a busy couple of weeks with my daughter, Charlotte having her first birthday earlier this month and in case you're wondering, yes she was very spoilt!!!
Well, Term 4 is underway, which means that Christmas is nearly upon us.. There's only 66 days to Christmas and only 41 more days that the Stampin' Up Mini Catalogue is available - if you haven't already seen it, view it online at http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/stampinup/index.aspx?pagename=shopmain&storeid=1039381
I've realised that I need to start working on my Christmas cards and also to complete the scrapbook from our first family holiday earlier this year. So its going to be my mission in the very near future to spend as much time as I can on these projects. This is, of course, in amongst the usual 'mum' and household jobs. I've been spending a lot of time in the garden the past 2 weeks and I have to admit, it looks pretty good. Most of the good work is due to the installation of our huge patio - it makes such a difference to our house!
Well, I'm going to post some details on a technique called 'rock & roll' soon. I recently demonstrated it at a workshop with great success and it works for lots of different stamp sets. So keep your eyes peeled for it!

christmas cardmaking...
with the silly sesason fast approaching, i thought i'd share my first xmas card for the year..
for obvious reasons, i'm not going to post all the xmas cards otherwise my family & friends won't get any surprises..
here goes.....
Ok, its taken me a while to get back to setting up my blog... i wanted to have a lot more on it before i gave out the address to ppl... anyway, i've decided to tell everyone my blog address, in the hopethat it will motivate me to actually post some new cards.... well i can make lots of excuses, but ur not here to read them but to see my cards, so here's some cards i've been making over the past few months....

these cards are using the 'greetings galore' set, a mixture of s/up card and the ribbon is some that i had in my craft room... i quickly took this photo and didn't preview it, hence the reasonn its all wonky! :)

this card is using the 'loads of love' truck... and some of double sided scrapbooking paper

an oldy, but a goldy (meaning that we made this card at my very 1st w/shop), whilst you can't really see it too clearly, this is using the 'heartfelt thanks' set, versamark with pastels and the 'watercolour joy' wheel for the background.

Introducing me!
Hi Everyone,
I joined Stampin' Up in February this year as a way to share my passion for card making. I was first introduced to Stampin' Up by Lee-Anne last year at one of her workshops and really liked the products offered so I joined the Stampin' Up Team.
Whilst I joined Stampin' Up for the cardmaking products, they have heaps of scrapbooking products which i will eventually gain the courage to start. I've tested the waters as they say but am hesitant to do to much scrapbooking as i fear i will never emerge once i start! :P
For any information on Stampin' Up, please contact me or to view the catalogue visit www.stampinup.com/au
